TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. By requesting samples or placing an order with Caroline’s Cards, indicates you are in full agreement with our Terms & Conditions in full and agree to be bound by them.
2. All printing will commence after verbal or written approval of a final sample. Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled & any cancellations or deletions will be charged at the full price.
3. PAYMENT FOR YOUR ORDER Upon receipt of your order, an invoice will be issued normally within 2 working days, either by post or email. This invoice is due for immediate payment and will also give the expected date your order will be ready for either despatch or collection. Work will not commence on your order until payment has been received and has cleared in our bank account. Any delay in payment will result in a delay to your order. You can pay your invoice by any of the following: CHEQUE: made payable to Caroline’s Cards—please allow a minimum of 3 working days (dependant on your bank) for payment to clear once we have received it CASH: do not send cash through the post BACS PAYMENT: see invoice for details PAYPAL: You must have your own PayPal account which must have a current credit or debit card assigned, otherwise an e Cheque will be issued by PayPal which takes up to 9 working days to clear and will result in delays to your order CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: please note that a 2% surcharge is applicable to all debit & credit card payments
4. Any shortages or mistakes on orders must be notified upon receipt. Any errors notified after 10 days can not be refunded or exchanged.
5. All postage costs for delivery of your order, sending of samples and return of artwork, will be added to your invoice at the current rates charged by the Post Office. First class is used at all times unless requested otherwise, or the weight is prohibitive. If a courier delivery is required (normally due to weight), we will advise you of the delivery options and costs prior to invoice so that you can agree this in advance. Receipted invoices can be sent if you send us an S.A.E Delivery times—whilst we do all we can to ensure your orders are delivered on time, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to bad weather or the delivery company/services. Lost/Damaged deliveries—we will always securely package and clearly label all deliveries, including a sender label. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged deliveries, however, we will supply postage details if requested. If you are concerned about deliveries being lost or damaged, special deliveries and/or insurance (please advise us of the value for insurance) can be added to the postage cost and this will be added to your invoice.
6. Lead times—samples will usually be printed & despatched within 8 working days 8 & upon approval of samples, the order should be ready for despatch within a further 8 working days. Subject to cleared payment. At peak trading times these lead times may increase and you will be notified at the time of enquiry if applicable.
7. Artwork—all artwork is retained on the computer and stored by Caroline’s Cards until such time that you request otherwise. We can supply copies of your artwork on CD for a nominal fee of £6.00 per disc.
8. All samples will be charged for at the full price. Caroline’s Cards retains the right to use any “production over runs or seconds” cards in sample packs sent out to prospective clients & they will be clearly marked as such. Alternatively we may sell them and the proceeds go to our nominated charity, which is Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Charity or a variety of good local causes.
9. Colourfast qualities— all colourfast comments & claims are based on the manufacturer’s accelerated light tests & their recommendations for correct storage under glass & out of direct sunlight. Greetings cards do not have a colourfast guarantee.
